Bismarck plans i recently picked up a set of plans for an 80" model of the bismarck. the plans look pretty decent but i was wondering if anyone has looked at them or built a model from them.. The ship was built in a construction period of four years in hamburg and put on the service at 14 february 1939. the engines of total 138,000 hp gave a maximum speed of 38.8 knots (about 70 km/h) to the ship.. My name is rob and have been building rc models for 30 years, mainly scale aircraft, but have also build model boats. this is a first for me though so bare with me on this. i am currently in the process of building a 1/80th scale model of the battleship bizmarck..
